• Foster, establish, and maintain effective external relationships & partnerships
• Communicate with and provide proposals & reports to funding agencies
• Deliver programs which emphasize fun, fitness, skill development, physical literacy, health (social, mental, emotional, physical), and well-being
• Able to delivery and provide leadership to a variety of children’s programs and services including family events and day camp
• Actively engage and facilitate registered, funded, and drop-in programs
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to program employees
• Bi-weekly scheduling and payroll administration
• Post-secondary education in recreation, kinesiology, social services, or related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirements
• Demonstrated experience in supporting cultures of inclusivity and belonging
• Strong relationship building, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
• Solid knowledge of program delivery for children, youth, and families with a minimum of 2 years experience
• 1+ years of experience leading a team of front-line delivery employees
• Experience using a database is an asset
