Qualifications:
• Child & Youth Care Diploma or acceptable equivalent and related experience.
• Residential Care experience would be an asset.
• Supporting caseload and healing plans and implementing them with the adolescent males.
• Provide support/supervision to the residents.
• Program development and facilitation skills.
• Needs to have the ability to work cooperatively with others and contribute as a team
member.
• Ability to work under stressful situations.
• Knowledge of Child Welfare Legislation and Standards.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of Aboriginal values and community issues.
• First Aid/CPR and NVCI certificates.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence (Class 5).
• Must provide a current (within last three months) Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
Query, Child Abuse Registry Check and be subject to a prior contact check
