• Grade 12 Education
• Driver’s License
• Steel-toed Boots
• Requirements and the essential duties/responsibilities of the successful candidate include but are not limited to the following:
  • Cut grass, trim edges, clean up refuse, blow trimmings, fertilize and water turf areas and perform other lawn care duties as directed by the Crew leader
  • Operate power equipment including (but not limited to) line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, lawn Mowers – both ride on and walk behind
  • Plant Knowledge (annual and perennial garden bed maintenance)
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Assist Crew Leader in other work-related duties including construction projects, shop and yard maintenance, vehicle and equipment maintenance
  • Frequently lift and / or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
  • Comply with all company policies and regulations
  • Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
  • Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner
  • The ability to communicate effectively with other staff/coworkers and customers
  • The ability to motivate staff to complete daily and weekly tasks
  • Must be able to use all tools and equipment to perform all tasks associated with landscape maintenance and snow removal
