Our Programs

Your Goals. Your Future. Your Way.

At YES Manitoba, we’re here to help you explore opportunities, build skills, and move toward your employment, education, or personal goals.

Whether you’re looking for your first job, returning to school, exploring training options, or figuring out your next steps, our team is here to support you along the way.

Our services are free, youth-focused, and tailored to your individual needs.

Getting Started

The first step is registering online. Once you’ve signed up, a member of our team will contact you to schedule your first appointment with an Employment Facilitator.

During your first meeting, we’ll get to know you, learn about your goals, discuss any challenges you may be facing, and help create a plan that works for you.

There are no perfect answers—we just want to understand where you’re at and where you’d like to go.

Employment Support

Looking for work? We’ve got you covered.

Our Employment Facilitators can help with:

  • Job searching
  • Resume development
  • Cover letters
  • Interview preparation
  • Workplace expectations
  • Career exploration
  • Finding employment opportunities

We’ll work with you to identify your strengths, build confidence, and develop strategies to help you succeed in the workforce.

Education and Training Support

If education or training is part of your plan, we can help you explore options and connect you with opportunities that fit your goals.

Depending on your needs, we may be able to assist with:

  • Exploring education pathways
  • Training and certification opportunities
  • Program applications
  • Community resources and referrals

Some participants may also be eligible for short-term certifications that strengthen employment opportunities and resumes.

Life and Employability Skills Workshops

Success isn’t just about finding a job—it’s about building the skills needed to thrive.

We offer support and workshops that can help you develop:

Employability Skills

  • Communication
  • Teamwork
  • Problem-solving
  • Digital skills
  • Workplace professionalism
  • Time management

Life Skills

  • Financial literacy and budgeting
  • Housing and transportation planning
  • Decision-making
  • Goal setting
  • Self-confidence and motivation
  • Accessing community supports

These skills can help you feel more prepared for work, school, and everyday life.

Ongoing Support

Your journey doesn’t end after your first appointment.

Your Employment Facilitator will continue to check in, help you work through challenges, celebrate successes, and adjust your plan as your goals evolve.

Some participants need frequent support, while others prefer occasional check-ins. We’ll work with you to find the level of support that makes sense for your situation.

Referrals and Community Connections

Sometimes the best support comes from connecting with the right resource.

If you need services outside of what we offer, we can help connect you with community organizations, education providers, training programs, housing supports, health resources, and other services that may benefit you.

A Youth-Led Approach

Our services are designed to help you build independence and confidence.

That means we encourage youth to take an active role in appointments, decision-making, and goal setting. We want to hear your ideas, your experiences, and your plans for the future.

Our team will provide guidance, coaching, and support, but you remain at the center of your journey.

We’re Here for the Long Run

Even after you find a job, start school, complete training, or achieve another goal, we’d love to stay connected.

We may check in from time to time to see how things are going, celebrate your successes, and offer additional support if needed.

Your success matters to us, and we’re proud to be part of your journey.
