About the Role:
We’re looking for a dependable and organized Office Assistant to help keep our office running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their day – from helping organize professional development opportunities to keeping our website up to date and lending a hand with accounting tasks. If you’re comfortable with technology, like staying organized, and enjoy supporting a team, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Helping plan and coordinate professional development opportunities (scheduling, logistics, and follow-up)
• Keeping our website current with the latest updates and resources
• Assisting with general accounting duties using QuickBooks Online (data entry, expense tracking, reports)
• Organizing digital and paper files so information is easy to find
• Responding to email enquiries in a timely and friendly way
• Supporting virtual meetings and webinars on Zoom
• Pitching in on other administrative tasks and projects as needed
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous office or administrative experience is an asset
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and Zoom
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage different tasks at once
• Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Able to work independently while also being a supportive team member
• Bonus: experience updating websites (or willingness to learn!)
