• Youth Care Diploma or acceptable equivalent and related experience.
• Care planning and healing plan development and implementation with the participants.
• Working knowledge of crisis intervention strategies.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining an effective working relationship with
Indigenous participants.
• Liaises and consults with collateral agencies about a specific service recipient or service concerns in
general.
• Needs to have the ability to work cooperatively with others and contribute as a team member.
• Ability to work under stressful situations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of Indigenous values.
• Must have valid Manitoba Driver’s Licence.
• Must provide current (within the last three months) Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Query,
Child Abuse Registry Check and be subject to Prior Contact Check.
