CAMP COORDINATOR:Dates of Employment:April 1 – August 23, 2024Salary:April 1 – May 31, 2024 – Part Time 5 hours/week $100/weekJune 2 – August 23, 2024 – Full Time $900/week (includes room and board)Requirements:•       be a minimum of 21 years of age, mature and responsible,•       able to take initiative•       possess strong leadership and organizational skills•       ability to work under minimal supervision•       awareness of and compliance with Manitoba Camping Association and United Church of Canada Camping guidelines•       basic First Aid and CPR training•       Class 5 license and access to a vehiclePROGRAM DIRECTOR/YOUTH WORSHIP LEADERDates of Employment:June 2- August 23, 2024Salary:Full Time $700/week (includes room and board)Requirements:•       must be a minimum of 18 years of age•       have camp experience•       show leadership in planning daily programs and themes•       basic First Aid and CPR trainingDuties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):•       establish and maintain a schedule for leadership of games, crafts, and worship (aligned with the United Church of Canada theology) appropriate for a variety of age before the start of employmentDuties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):•       meal preparation for large and small groups•       preparing meal options for a variety of dietary needs•       ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining area•       menu planning and grocery ordering with assistance from the Kitchen CommitteeASSISTANT COOKDates of years of age•       must have current NLS (National Lifeguard) certification, First Aid and CPR training•       must have canoeing experience•       must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license and helping in other camping areas as assigned by the Camp CoordinatorCARETAKERDates of Employment:June 24 – August 23, 2024Salary:Full Time $650/week (includes room and board)Requirements:•       must be a minimum of 16 years of age•       ability to work with minimal supervision•       able to take initiative to perform maintenance duties•       operate yard equipment including lawn mower, trimmer, chain saw, etc.•       have a WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Material Information) certificate before the start of camp dutiesDuties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):•       grounds as a role model for children•       are a crucial part of our camping program.
