EIA employment readiness program
The EIA Employment Readiness Program sets EIA recipients up for success with one-on-one job coaching, access to training, and connections to YES Manitoba’s partner employers.
Complete the referral form below if you are an EIA Case Coordinator at Jobs on Market (JOM) and would like your client(s) to receive support from YES Manitoba. Be sure to upload their Exceptional Letter of Consent, allowing us to share progress with you.
If you are an EIA Case Coordinator and your client is not yet eligible to be referred by Jobs on Market, please reach out directly to Employment Facilitator, George Abdou, at (204) 987-8661 ext. 663 or gabdou@yesmb.ca
About the Process
- 1. Once the referral is received and processed your client will be invited through email to attend an orientation session, held both virtually and in-person at our office.
- 2. Following orientation clients will be scheduled for one-on-one employment readiness appointments and/or other YES Manitoba services based on their goals and areas of interest.
- 3. When clients are ready to begin their job search, they will be instructed to apply to 10 jobs per week and submit weekly reports to their Employment Facilitator.
- 4. The Employment Facilitator will then send reports every second Monday to the client’s EIA Case Coordinator, providing updates on their progress.
Looking to refer a client from another agency?
- If you know someone who could benefit from YES Manitoba’s services, please send them our way.
- Non-EIA clients do not need a formal referral and can register online as a client here.
